Plein Air Open Figure Drawing

Join other artists this summer for Plein Air Open Figure Drawing on the lawn at the Red Brick Center for the Arts.  There is no instruction, rather this is a gathering that allows artists of all abilities an opportunity to draw from a live model. For artist, it is important to keep drawing skills fresh and lucid. Join the self-instructed group and inspire your artistic soul. 

Cost: $20 model fee. Please come with cash and give directly model.

Dates: 10am - 12pm on July 25, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27, September 10, September 17, September 24. Fall dates to be listed soon.

During summer months figure drawing will be held on the front lawn of the Red Brick. If there is inclement weather, drawing group will meet in the foyer by the the west entrance.

Be sure to arrive a little before 10am to set-up an easel. Take care to not block your neighbor’s view. The model starts at 10:00am and clean-up begins at 11:55am. Basic drawing supplies and easel provided.
