West Gallery is excited to present the works of Barbara Drausal and Reina Katzenberger, two artists who have participated in the Sister Cities Artist Exchange Program. Aspen Sister Cities is a nonprofit organization that follows the Sister Cities International mission of “promoting peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation- one individual, one community at a time.” Aspen has established partnerships with seven cities around the world: Abatone (Italy), Bariloche (Argentina), Chamonix (France), Davos (Switzerland), Garmish (Germany), Shimukappu (Japan) and Queenstown (New Zealand)

 Bariloche Artist Exchange Program
Bariloche has been an active sister city since 2003. The artist exchange program started in 2014 by the initiative of artists Missy Prudden (Roaring Fork Valley) and Paula Fischer (Bariloche) who still play a key role in this program.

Our mission is to strengthen the relationship between our communities through Art: sharing and appreciating the work of our local artists- that is an expression of our culture- exchanging ideas and techniques, and generating expansion of artistic opportunities.
