Creative Happy Hour! Drawing with ink, mud and sticks with Shelly Marolt

  • Red Brick Center for the Arts & Art Gallery 10 East Hallam Street Aspen, CO, 81611 United States (map)

Drawing with ink, sticks and mud

Ink, sticks, mud and your creativity are the basic supplies for this exploratory session. Paint with your full arm, letting go of control and preconceived ideas. Strong and expressive ink lines highlighted with mud will create unique designs.

Instructor Shelly Marolt, a longtime local and artist, formerly a Resident Artist at the Red Brick Center for the Arts, uses the influences from a class she had with William Downs to share her artistic style. Shelly has shown in galleries in Palm Beach, New York City and Aspen.

Join us at the Red Brick Center for the Arts for fun and social art-making evenings. Whether you have art experience or not, come create during our evening sessions and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or beer. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

All supplies are included.

$25 per session, per person

The Red Brick Center for the Arts is conveniently located just two blocks away from the RFTA bus stop on Garmisch Street.
