What is the story of our future? How can hope and positivity influence the narratives we tell ourselves and others? In this workshop we will use paper fortune tellers as prompts and tools to tell true or fictional stories about what it means to be human. Together we will write short vignettes about big ideas and personal experiences with coincidence, luck, joy, fear, failure, fortune, and victory. Additionally, we will create our own paper fortune tellers based on the ideas we explore in the workshop.
The gallery exhibition in the Red Brick Center for the Arts will be, “Fortune Teller”, allow time to view the show before or after the creative session.
